TEST SPECIFICATIONS
The Automatic Online Ceiling fan Analyzer is installed directly on the conveyor and ceiling fans are tested by applying the voltage to the bus bars mounted on the conveyor.
I) H.V Flash Test (Bus Bar – I)
The H.V Flash test once again checks the strength of the ground wall insulation but at a higher applied voltage than the I.R test. If there is sudden surge in the leakage current it indicates that the ground wall insulation is weak and the test has failed.
H.V Flash test = (2×E + 1000) where E is the operating voltage
Test Voltage |
0-2.5KV AC (Adjustable) |
Test Time |
0-10 sec |
Overtrip Leakage Current Limit |
0.1-10 mAmps |
II) Low voltage Start Test (Bus Bar – II)
The Low voltage Start test is performed at low voltage of around 100V to check if the fan rotates at low voltage and there is no jammed rotor inside the fan. The readings of Wattage, Current and PF are measured and compared against the defined parameters set by the operator.
Test Voltage |
0-270 Volts (Adjustable) |
Wattage Limit |
0-2000 Watts |
Current Limit |
0-8 Amps |
Power Factor Limit |
0.000-1.000 |
Test Time |
0-10 sec |
III) Full Voltage No Load Test (Bus Bar-III)
The Full Voltage No Load Test is performed at full run voltage of around 230 V to check the electrical parameters of the ceiling fan. The readings of Wattage, Current and PF are measured and compared against the defined parameters set by the operator. The operator can also set the applied test voltage.
